I apologize for my delay in writing this... I have been negligent. But a few weekends ago I reunited with my two roommates from collage. What a Hoot!!!! There was hiking, singing, eating, and just good times all around.

The three of us are all active people so when planning a reunion we had to have an activity! We chose to do a 6 mile hike up Mount Sunapee in NH. The hike was a gorgeous trip. Along the way up the mountain there is Lake Solitude which is near the top. What a crazy land formation! A lake at a top of a mountain!

Along our way up the mountain we made a few stops and at one point we found this nifty box the was like a geocache. There was a little notepad to leave a message and other assorted trinkets that people had left behind.

We all felt great and had great company with 2 dogs joining us the whole way.

The dogs really are the ones that kept pace for us scooting up the mountain with minimal effort.
Conclusion: The best way to hike is with best friends and a dog or two!
