This past week I came down with a sinus and ear infection. This was terrible news considering that the New England
Color Run was on Saturday. Luckily, I rested up throughout the week and was able to enjoy the multi-pigmented event!!!
A few months back my best friend tried to get me to sign up the "Funnest 5k on the Planet". At the time I hadn't gotten to a point where I appreciated the running experience so I put off registering and by the time I got around the event was sold out. Of course I wasn't terribly disappointed, but as you can imagine, as the event inched closer the more I wanted to be part of it!
Fortunately, one of the guys in our friend group decided he didn't want to par take and rather fish that weekend so I scored his registration. I am so grateful this happened!

The race started out with folks all dressed in white and by the end of the 5k we were covered in assorted colors....which I am still trying to get off.

Not only was it a color fun filled race but I also ran it with some of my best friends! I am so grateful to have friends that are just as active as I am.

The race was an easy run in amazing weather and regardless of being sick I felt great afterwards. The food and beer following the race help immensely. I recommend this 5K for anybody!!!
